2016 Spring Program Video

The 2016 Spring Program Video is available NOW as a FREE DOWNLOAD or to view online.  We apologize for the delay in making the video available to you, but hope you enjoy every minute.  As we celebrated both ACE's 20th Anniversary and Mrs. Strater's retirement, our Night of Broadway was a wonderful showcase of our students' talent and what they learned in music class.

ACE Art Projects Christmas Programs

This Fall, each class will have the opportunity to learn and apply different art techniques, explore their creativity, and create art that will be on display on the walls at ACE for many years to come.  We are excited to see and display what our students come up with.

Please feel free to look around for your student’s art contribution as you come to Parent/Teacher Conferences and the Christmas Program in December!

Please note: Mrs. Kern is looking for donations of old, button-down shirts to be used as art smocks.  If you have any shirts that you would like to donate to the ACE Art Department, please send them into school with your child.

Our students are working hard each day as we lead up to our annual Christmas Programs!  This year, the theme is "Celebrate the Season," which is fitting as we strive to celebrate Jesus' birth in this Christmas season.  While we sing songs of Christmas and work with instruments and hand motions, we are celebrating Christ Himself!

We look forward to highlighting what we have been working on in Music Classes this year.  Parents and families are encouraged to join us as we Celebrate the Season this December 15th and 16th.

Operation Christmas Child

Thank you for your partnering with ACE for the Operation Christmas Project this year!

Run by Samaritan’s Purse, Operation Christmas Child helps provide Christmas gifts for thousands of children in need all over the world. Our goal in participating with Operation Christmas Child is to help those less fortunate in a practical way, but primarily to teach students the value of giving to others - as Jesus Himself said, “It is more blessed to give than to receive,” (Acts 20:35).  What a joy it is to give to others, particularly as we approach the holiday season!

American Harvest Festival

The American Harvest Festival is a wonderful ACE tradition in which each class gets to experience hands-on learning about American history before Thanksgiving!

Our Toddler, Preschool, Junior Kindergarten, and Senior Kindergarten classes have been learning about the first Thanksgiving and some traditions that often go along with Thanksgiving.  They had a wonderful time t the American Harvest Festival with a traditional Thanksgiving meal and dressed up as the Native Americans and Pilgrims who were present at the first Thanksgiving.

In line with their curriculum learning about Colonial times, the First Graders dressed up and experienced a day in a one-room Colonial schoolhouse.  Our Second Graders have been learning about pioneer life in early America, the hardships that faced families who ventured out to claim land and expand our great country.  They  decorated their rooms and dressed up as Pioneers.  The Third Graders got a taste of the Roaring 20’s.  They had the opportunity to research an American from the 1920’s, dressed up as that person, and did a class presentation about their research.  Lastly, our Fourth Graders presented on Civil War era Americans, in full costume, as they are learning about the conflict between the North and the South that led to the Civil War and the post-War rebuilding of our nation.

We had a fantastic American Harvest Festival and were so proud of our students for their excellence in research, creativity, and presentations on so many historical figures that helped shape our great country.
